The Jackfruit tree is a medium-sized evergreen tree, reaching 8-25 meters in height, with rapid growth in early years. It has a straight rough stem, green or black bark exuding milky latex, and broad, dark green leaves that are alternately arranged. Jackfruit has a green to yellow-brown exterior with hexagonal carpel apices covering a thick, rubbery wall. It's a multiple aggregate fruit formed by the fusion of multiple flowers, with the flesh constituting about 30% of its weight. The fruit contains numerous nutritional bulbs.
