Comprehensive Epilepsy Care Programme in the institute is headed by Prof. Sanjeev V Thomas; the group consisting of 4 neurologists, 2 neuroradiologists, 2 neurosurgeons, 2 PDFs, neuropsychologists and a medical social workers meet on Wednesdays, every week at 2.30pm to discuss the management of patients with epilepsy. Clinical history, Imaging findings and Video-EEG findings are discussed and advanced therapy decisions are made. The group won the prestigious BMJ award " Medical Team of South Asia for the year 2015''
