Training in Handling of Laboratory Animals, Laws, Basic Techniques, Ethics and Welfare

Division of Laboratory Animal Science (LAS) is planning to conduct the “XXX^th Animal Handling Training programme” from December 8^th -12^th, 2025.

Eligibility: This basic level training is aimed to the target audience who are postgraduates in biological sciences or PhD students or PhD’s and postgraduates in biological sciences or veterinarians with BVSc and AH degree, who plan to perform translational biomedical or basic lab animal research. This training will expose them to the nuances and guiding principles of small laboratory animal experimentation. The acceptance criteria of candidates (minimum qualification) for the training will also be the same.

Interested candidates with post-graduation in life sciences may submit the application form in the format given and online payment worth Rupees four thousand seven hundred and twenty (18% GST included) (Rs. 4720/-; 18% GST included) in favor of "The Director, SCTIMST" through any online mode of bank transfer to Institute’s account No: 57001148263, IFSC: SBIN0070032 (Mention applicant’s name and purpose of fee in the remarks column).
