Ms. Sethu Lakshmi V.S., Ph.D. Scholar in the Division of Dental Products, Department of Biomaterials Science and Technology, Biomedical Technology Wing, has been awarded the First Prize in the Short-Invited Lecture category at the International Conference and Workshop on Advanced Materials and Manufacturing for Biomedical and Composite Applications (AMBC-2026), held at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, on 17 May 2026. The award was conferred for her presentation titled “Tuning Microneedle Morphology through Polymer Chemistry.”

Ms. Sethu Lakshmi carries out her research under the supervision of Dr. Shiny Velayudhan, Scientist-F.
