Best Oral Presentation 

Mr. Subhash N. N., Engineer C, Division of Artificial Internal Organs, Department of Medical Device Engineering, was awarded the Best Oral Presentation in Materials for Healthcare for his work on "TiN coated coronary stent: Lab to Animal studies". This recognition was received at the International Conference on Advanced Ceramics for Sustainability and the 88^th Annual Session of the Indian Ceramic Society, held at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras from November 28 to 30, 2024. 

The coronary stent project at SCTIMST is part of the Technical Research Center for Biomedical Devices, which is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The project was spearheaded by a team from the Division of Artificial Internal Organs, Department of Cardiology, including Subhash N. N., Muraleedharan C. V., and Dr. Harikrishnan S. Additionally, several other researchers were involved in the project, such as Dr. Sanjay G., Dr. Umashankar P. R., Dr. Sachin Shenoy, Dr. Sabareeswaran A., Dr. Sujesh S., Ramesh Babu, Rajeev A., Subhash Kumar M. S., Aneesh S., Polson Benny, and Binu M.
