Best Original Paper Presentation 

Award for Best Original Paper Presentation on Medical Biotechnology / Application of Software Technologies in Medicine in the National Conference on "Emerging Trends in Healthcare Biotechnology: Innovations, challenges and future prospects" organized by the Society of Biotechnologists (India), held on Nov 30^th to Dec 2^nd 2023 at Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum.

A team from the Department of Information Technology at Government Engineering College, Barton Hill, Trivandrum consisting of Suryanarayan Menon A, Gowri Arunsha, Ron Regi Zacharia, Vinayak Naveen and Prof. Jassim Rafeek delivered an oral presentation on their research project titled " Development of a Customized Software for Collection and Analysis of Data from Patient Monitors - a Preliminary Study" conducted in collaboration with Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum. They were selected the IBS Award for Best Original Paper Presentation on Medical Biotechnology for their work. The work was done under the guidance of Shri. Rajeev A (Department Medical Devices Engg.), Shri. Manoj G.S (Division of Clinical Engineering.) and Prof.  Smita V (Department of Anaesthesiology).
