Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship
Er. SARATH S NAIR, Engineer F, Division of Extracorporeal Devices, Department of Medical Devices Engineering has received the prestigious INAE-SERB, Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship by the Indian National Academy of Engineering, for his research on “Transcutaneous Energy Transfer System for Implantable Medical Devices”. The fellowship is for three years initially which may be extended for two more years. The Fellowship amount is Rs 25,000/- per month and a Research Grant of Rs.15.00 lakh per annum.
This fellowship is in recognition to his outstanding contributions and future promise in the field of Medical Devices, Biomedical Engineering as well as the contribution in the growth of engineering profession in India.
